2. Quote requests and enquiries
Purpose: understanding your idea, assessing feasibility, discussing technical details, preparing a quote and responding to your enquiry.
Data processed: your name, email address, selected service and message; and, if provided, your phone number, preferred deadline, quantity, dimensions and material or colour preferences. If you upload a file, its name, size and contents are also processed. The system also records when the enquiry was received, its reference number, processing status and the version of the privacy notice acknowledged.
Your name, email address, selected service and message are required to submit a web enquiry. Other fields and attachments are optional; you may request a quote without a finished design. Send only the data needed for the project and, where possible, remove unnecessary personal details from designs. Do not upload special categories of personal data or identity documents.
Legal basis: if you request a quote on your own behalf, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR applies: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For business contact details and general professional enquiries, the legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f): responding to the business enquiry you initiated and maintaining contact. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
The checkbox on the form acknowledges that you have read this notice. It is not marketing consent; we do not use your contact details for newsletters or advertising.
Retention: web enquiries and their attachments are removed from the active system by the daily deletion task once 6 months have passed since receipt. You may request earlier deletion. Direct email discussions that do not lead to an order are retained for no more than 6 months after they end. If you place an order, records needed for performance and statutory retention may be transferred to a separate business records system; information about that further processing will be provided when entering into the contract.
3. Operation and security
To limit repeated or automated submissions, the application stores a periodically changing code derived from the IP address and a request counter. The original IP address is not saved with the enquiry. These rate-limit entries remain valid for no more than 2 hours. Expired entries are deleted on a subsequent request or, if no further request occurs, during daily housekeeping within 24 hours of expiry.
The internal management area uses a login session. The identifier needed to log in is stored in a technical browser cookie; authorisation and security-check data are stored on the server. Login expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or a maximum of 8 hours; expired session files are deleted daily. See the cookie notice for details.
The legal basis for these operations is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: protecting the enquiry system and confidential designs and preventing abuse. The hosting infrastructure may also create technical server logs of HTTP requests; the provider’s rules are available in the Magyar Hosting privacy notice.
4. Who can access the data?
Messages and attachments may be accessed by SQG Electronic Kft. personnel authorised to perform the relevant task. Website and email hosting are provided as a processing service by Websupport Magyarország Kft. (1119 Budapest, Fehérvári út 97–99., Hungary; info@mhosting.hu). Notification emails contain the enquiry reference and a link to the protected management area; designs are not sent as email attachments.
Submitted materials are not made public. Uploaded files and the database are stored outside the website’s public directory; access to the management area and downloads requires authentication. The website does not automatically forward enquiries to an artificial intelligence service and does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling. The enquiry application does not initiate transfers of personal data to third countries.
Our own recovery backups are retained for no more than 30 days, with restricted access. Deleted data may only be restored from these backups for recovery purposes; deletions are reapplied after a restore. For this purpose, the deleted record’s identifier and deletion time are kept separately for no more than 30 days. The hosting provider’s infrastructure backups are governed by the terms of the provider’s contract.
5. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you may request access to and a copy of your personal data, correction, erasure and restriction of processing. For automated processing based on a contract, you may also request portability of the data you provided. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Send your request to info@sqg.hu. Include the enquiry reference if you know it. Where necessary, we will verify the requester’s identity in a proportionate way. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month; if an extension permitted by the GDPR is needed, we will explain it and its reasons within that period.
6. Complaints and remedies
If you believe that processing infringes your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) and seek a judicial remedy. NAIH’s address: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., Hungary; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9., Hungary. Current ways to submit a complaint are listed on the NAIH contact page.
7. Cookies and external content
This website has no analytics or advertising tracking code, external fonts, embedded maps or social modules. The application does not place cookies for ordinary browsing or submitting an enquiry. A separate cookie notice explains the necessary cookie used by the internal management area.
